Ein Turbo-Staustrahltriebwerk gibt es bei der SR-71 Blackbird wo mach 3 erreicht
Ein ähnliches Triebwerk hat schon bei Navajo über Mach 5 erreicht. Allerdings gab es später innerhalb der sogenannten Black Programm Aurora Aktivitäten wohl eine Reihe von Versuchsmaschinen die mindestens ähnliche Leistungen erbrachten. Dazu gab es auch mal ein Amateurphoto, das wir vor einigen Jahren bei RC veröffentlichen durften. Übrigens lief auch in Ottobrunn schon ein Staustrahlmotor mit Mach7 auf dem Prüfstand.
